Francis+Zann SDE
Francis and Zann’s wedding was a joyous day and their “brothers” and’ “sisters” definitely added to the fun. The sisters had thoughtfully planned and meticulously prepared to make the whole gatecrashing a challenge for the guys. However, the groom and his brothers were spontaneous and eventually, got the bride. You can be sure that it was no mean feat! The outdoor shooting was at Lower Pierce Reservoir and I have to admit, it was my first time there. I like the sense of peace and quietness of the place and it provided a beautiful backdrop the the shoot. I had fun shooting and hope you also like this SDE video.

U.L.O
In this year’s Singapore Archifest, Whenlightswork collective has organized Unidentified Lighting Object (U.L.O) and this event is kindly sponsored by IKEA Singapore. A total of 25 invited designers, from celebrated creatives to emerging designers, all across different design disciplines, work their magic on conventional IKEA items they would each choose. Whiteunit is very excited to be U.L.O’s appointed photographer and videographer. And thanks to LABW, we had a beautiful black and white shophouse as the shooting location. Everyone was in a relaxed and spontaneous mood, which makes the whole shooting a whole lot more fun.
PS. U.L.O exhibition will be at Tampines IKEA Level 2 from 23rd Oct to 31st Oct 2009, please come!

Ting + Hian Hong
The ninth day of the ninth month of the year two thousand and nine is proving to be a popular day among couples around the world. Apparently, in Mandarin number “nine” stands for longevity” Hence, the motivation to get married on 09/09/09 and receive a triple share of “forever-ness” was substantial among Chinese couples. I am very lucky to be part of Ting + Hian Hong’s wedding. Ting and Hian Hong knew each other since their school days, both were from National Junior College Choir. Their love blossomed after 12 years of friendship, and started at the esplanade bridge and therefore, the same location was chosen for their wedding shoots.
Their ceremony was at Suburbia, which used to be the Ficus station of the Sentosa monorail line. The green-lush outdoor environment and modern architecture makes a stunning location for their wedding. The ceremony was graced by the presence of their close relative and wonderful friends. Cooper, Ting’s dog, was the honored ring-bearer. The pretty flowers were arranged by talented Osh, Shujun and friends (including the groom himself), you must see how hard at work they were!

post birthday brunch
After a night of partying at Brussels sprout, we decided to take today slow. What can be better than a lazy afternoon brunch at Jones! Tino was still bushed from the late night and practically slept through his post birthday brunch. He was grossly disappointed to miss all the fun. Nonetheless, Chai Chai had a great time hanging out with her older friends, especially Krista who flew over from Hong Kong to join us for the weekend.
We especially love the light inside. It was nicely diffused, as if there was a natural soft box.
